Valerius have won the consulship and the great hero Marcus Valerius Corvus, most ancient and esteemed man in Rome, has finally exited this world. Without his guidance there is a divide in Rome. The city's leading men are jockeying for position and pushing their agenda.
This is the situation in the city as your character comes of age. While your family has held Senatorial status many times over the centuries, all of this came from years of work, not by acclamation of their fellow Roman citizens. As a matter of fact, no member of your family has held imperium. Now history rests upon you. Will you join the great men of Rome, winning your family accolades and commanding legions of men, or will you join the many forgotten leaders in Rome's long history?
