So long as your name follows the rules of Nova Roma, does not overly conflict with another player, and follows the below rules it will be accepted:
Allowed Gentes:
Patrician: Tullius, Hirtius, Numicius, Galerius
Plebian: Aurelius, Pompilius, Sextilius, Livius, Pompieia, Caedicius
Player's choice: Antonius, Livius, Iulius, Sempronius, Cornelius, Cassius
All praenomen from Nova Roma is accepted
Cognomen will be accepted on a case by case basis, determined by the admins
The formal name is much more complicated, and will be assigned based on the naming choices of the player. The formal name will only be used by admins in the cases of formal contracts, such as treaties, property contracts, and legal documents. A full formal name example is provided: Gaius Iulius, Gaius f., Gaius n., tribu Titia, Caesar. That would translate (literally) as Gaius Julius, son of Gaius, Grandson of Gaius, of the tribe of Titius, known as Caesar. True formal names adopted many more conventions, but this will serve for our formalities, and obviously does not include titles (such as consul).
